The Walk of Art, in its 8th year, is a community-led creative festival to showcase local artists, performers and other creatives.  To support this, I was commissioned to paint a community-inspired piece involving the electricity box outside the Horsforth library, right at the heart of the town. 

Whilst painting, I was approached by many locals asking what was happening.  Amongst them, 2 lovely guys, who personified community and kindly volunteered to be photographed – my new inspiration for the piece. It was a great opportunity to use the 3D surface to literally bring a new dimension to my painting!
